AccommodatiON

You’ll be staying directly at the kitesurf spot. When you open the curtains you’ll be overviewing the lagune including Dragon Island and sister hotel PK25 accross the lagoon.
With the water just a few meters away, you can be sure that you’ll spend many hours on the water.
For your kitesurfing at the Dakhla Lagoon you can book a standard, basic or VIP bungalow with hot shower and toilet. These accommodations are perfect for friends, groups and solo-travelers or families.

Pricing and bungalow information

From €36 pppn (based on staying with 5 persons in one bungalow, full board). Windhunter camp bungalows are the most basic and are situated in the lee of the big dune. These accommodation can accommodate upto 5 people directly at the Dakhla lagoon.

The Dragon camp bungalows are the standard bungalows situated between the surf-center and the restaurant. These can be booked from f €62,50 p.p.p.n (based on staying with 2 persons in one bungalow, full board).

VIP bungalows are situated within the Dragon Camp bungalows. These houses have two to five beds, a closet for your clothing a fully equipped bathroom and separate toilet. From €105 p.p.p.n.

More about Dakhla

Dakhla is a small town with restaurants, shops, a market / night market and a doctor’s post plus hospital. The town of Dakhla is, in our opinion, not comparable to touristy-places such as Taghazout or Marrakesh. Hotel Dakhla Attitude is about 40 minutes drive from the city center of Dakhla. We can arrange city trips for you from the hotel at the Dakhla lagoon!

payment and currency

The currency in Dakhla, Morocco, is the Dirham.
You can pay in Dakhla with this Dirham and in more and more places you can also pay with your regular debit card. In Dakhla Attitude hotel you pay with a mastercard, debit card or cash in Dirham or Euro.

Arrival and departure

Fly to Dakhla Airport (“VIL”) for your kitesurfing holiday at the Dakhla lagoon! Royal Air Maroc has daily flights from Amsterdam and Brussels and this airline allows you to bring your boarding bag for free. But keep in mind the maximum number of kilos and dimensions: 23kg, 220x40x40.

As your travel agent we’ll arrange your airport transfers.
You will be picked up from the airport and taken to the hotel. You can recognize the staff by the signs with the hotel logo, in this case the hotel Dakhla Attitude logo.

Kitesurfing at Dakhla lagoon  – Spotguide

Go the the flatwaters of the lagoon, just steps away! Kitesurfing can be done in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. Enjoy riding on a big flat to choppy area and make lots of progress. There is a kite & surfing school with the latest Cabrinha rental and teaching equipment for kitesurfers.

» Jorf El Hmam.  Wavespot – Beautiful beach – Multiple spotlights ; Right and left running waves.

Please note: kitesurfing in the Dakhla Lagoon is offered on many places and many new hotels are built. We advice you to take a good look at google maps where the hotel is situated. Not all hotels are within a good and safe walking distance from the water.
The spots as mentioned above are all accessible with assistance and / or safety boats.

Other activities

In Dakhla lagoon “nothing to do” except kitesurfing? We do not agree!
That is why you will find below a number of activities that the hotel Dakhla Attitude offers:

Wakeboarding (2.0 cable) Go wakeboarding behind the only wakeboard cable in the Sahara! More information and pre-booking? Let us know! This is highly recommended.

SUP and Kayak There are SUP boards and kayaks for rent. You can also do a downwind SUP/Kayak trip.

Surfing On approx. 25 minutes drive is the surf spot. In the front you can learn to surf on the white foam. In the back break waves of average 1.5-2m.

Catamaran The ‘Hobbycat’ catamaran is available for a trip!

Fishing Do you go fishing (2-3 hours) with a nice crew?!  On the way back you get a drink at the beach bar and you go your own ‘catch of the day’ in the evening to eat!

Non-watersports

Wellness there is a SPA that offers a wide range of different massages and treatments. Send us a message or DM on social, to get to know more about the wellness options at the Dakhla lagoon!

ASNAA spring Here you can enjoy a hot ‘shower’ with sulphate-rich water. Good for the skin and good for the muscles. Also nice in combination with the downwinder to the White Dune.

Yoga & Gym A proper gym has been built and you can also take part in yoga!

Oyster farm Ga eat oysters and other fresh fish at the oyster farm. Also available as downwinder with lunch. The downwinder is only for experienced riders!

SPA Whether it’s about doing your nails, your skin (waxing) or a facial. Everything is great at the wellness center next to the sports center. You can also go here for a delicious Hammam experience.

Boat trip Join the excursion to Dragon Island. This island is still complete as it has ever been found. Full of stones and beautiful shells (bring shoes!).

Around the bungalows and the kitesurfing (lagoon) spot is plenty to see and do in Dakhla Attitude.For example, chilling in a hammock at the beach bar, reading on one of the sunbeds at the restaurant. But also: slacklining, table tennis, walking or shopping in the surf shop.

Sustainability

Dakhla Attitude has been concerned with its surroundings and the planet from the beginning.
Therefore some of the things they do, in the context of sustainability:
The hotel works for the most part with local employees and local products.
In addition, the owners are aware of the local wildlife and therefore they want to protect it.

An example: the iconic Fiddler Crabs have been given their own ‘refuge’, created by Dakhla Attitude.
