Accommodation

Westpoint kite and surf hotel Dakhla has 40 eco-friendly bungalows for 1 to 4 people.
These bungalows have a very comfortable double bed and two sofa beds on the second floor (mezzanine). There is also a wardrobe, TV and bathroom with large shower, washbasin and a separate toilet. When staying at this hotel designed for surfers and kitesurfers right at the edge of the city of Dakhla, be sure to take a dip in the pool, after the delicious breakfast buffet…

The hotel has something extra that the other hotels in Dakhla don’t have:
a restaurant on the premises where you can enjoy the freshest sushi and delicious wok dishes (extra supplement paid). Enjoy the magical sunset with a drink and on or more of the delicious dishes.

More about Dakhla city

Dakhla is a small town with restaurants, shops, a market / night market and a doctor’s post plus hospital. The town of Dakhla is, in our opinion, not comparable to touristy-places such as Taghazout or Marrakesh. Hotel Dakhla Attitude is about 40 minutes drive from the city center of Dakhla.

payment and currency

The currency in Dakhla, Morocco, is the Dirham.
You can pay in Dakhla with this Dirham and in more and more places you can also pay with your regular debit card. In WestPoint hotel you can pay with a master-card, debit card or cash in Dirham or Euro.

Arrival and departure

Fly to Dakhla Airport (“VIL”) for your kitesurfing / surfing holiday at Dakhla.  Royal Air Maroc has daily flights from Amsterdam and Brussels and this airline allows you to bring your boarding bag for free. But keep in mind the maximum number of kilos and dimensions: 23kg, 220x40x40.

As your travel agency, we’ll arrange your airport transfers to this kite and surf hotel in Dakhla.

SUSTAINABILITY

To make surf and kite Dakhla the best possible experience, stay in this eco-friendly hotel.

What they do, is that they filter the waste water which they then use to keep the garden green. In addition, the bungalows are largely made of the material that is locally available: sand.

Other special – and especially eco-friendly – measures are the swimming pool filled with filtered seawater. And they’ll be using as many local products as possible.
Last but not least, they regularly organize beach clean ups.
